Cuba has classified to date 301 athletes to PA Games

Cuba have 301 athletes qualified for the Pan American Games in July, sports authorities said on Thursday.

Norge Marrero, director of the High Performance department of the National Sports Institute, said apart from team events of hockey, handball, water polo, baseball, volleyball, softball and women's basketball, Cuban athletes will also compete in rowing, shooting, swimming, canoeing, gymnastics and so on.

Cuba finished second on the medals tally behind the United States in the last version of the Games four years ago.

The 2015 Games will be held July 10-26 in Toronto, Canada. Endi
