The newly-built headquarters of China Central Television (CCTV) has made a list of "terrible buildings worth tearing down" in a survey by the London-based Financial Times among its journalists around the world.

The controversial luxurious CCTV headquarters, nicknamed "big underpants" by locals, was designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.
"Walkie Talkie", a 37-story building in London completed this year, tops the list winning 20.9 percent of the popular vote.
