2 detention house escapees captured; 1 remain at large

Police have captured the second of the three inmates who escaped a detention center after killing a guard early Tuesday in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

Wang Daming was seized in Xinsheng village, Yanshou County at around 00:50 a.m. Thursday, said the Public Security Bureau of Harbin, the provincial capital.

Earlier at around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, also in Yanshou County, Li Haiwe, one of the three escaped inmates, was netted near Yushan village.
