Fiji's Influenza A/H1N1 Confirmed Cases Rise to 11

Fiji's Ministry of Health officials on Tuesday confirmed another case of Influenza A/H1N1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 11.
The new case was identified in Fiji's tourist resort town of Nadi.
The patient has also received treatment, with close monitoring by the health team in the area.
This also brings the total number of people affected in Nadi tonine, with one each confirmed in Suva and Lautoka.
Samples continue to be sent to the testing facilities at Mataika House in Tamavua, Suva and the Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the situation closely over the next week.
Earlier confirmed cases have responded positively to treatment and have improved.
The first two cases should be cleared soon to return to normal duties.
