Singapore Confirms 6 More Influenza A/H1N1 Cases

Singapore has confirmed six more cases of Influenza A/H1N1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 40, the country's Health Ministry said on Sunday night.
According to the ministry, all of the 40 cases, except one who was a close contact of a confirmed case, are imported cases with a travel history.
In the last three days, a total of 19 cases were reported. Thirteen of the imported cases had arrived in Singapore from Australia, two from the United States, two from the Philippines, one from Thailand, and one from Canada.
Singapore reported its first confirmed case of Influenza A/H1N1on May 27. So far, 17 patients have been discharged. The remaining 23 patients are still in the hospital and their conditions remain stable.
