Indonesia Denies Reports on A H1N1 Flu Suspect

The Indonesian government on Thursday denied earlier reports indicating A/H1N1 flu suspect in the country.
Bayu Krisnamurthi, a deputy to the coordinating minister for economy, in charge of agriculture and maritime affairs said here that as of now no A H1N1 flu patient was found in Indonesia.
"There were two people, one in Jakarta and one in Surabaya, detected with high temperature, but the result was negative," the Jakarta Post online quoted Bayu as saying.
He said that Indonesia has prepared necessary measures to prevent carrier visitors from entering the country, "Our thermal surveillance in ports is good enough," he added.
Earlier reports said that an Indonesian female had been treated in a hospital in Surabaya, East Java for A H1N1 flu symptoms. She was brought to the hospital's particular isolation room after the thermal scanner detected high temperature in her body.
In anticipating the possible spread of A H1N1 flu, the Indonesian government has prepared 100 hospitals across the country.
