Fighters Against Poverty in 2018

Chinagate.cn,July 25, 2019 Adjust font size:

The new era is for strivers. Only strivers can leave their trails in history.

2018 is a crucial year in the fight against poverty. Poverty fighters have worked hard with wisdom and passion, strove ahead with full energy and pursued a better life.

Li Runhong, a wechat saleswoman at Lingtou village in Wuxiang County, Shanxi Province, is making a live stream on the Internet.

Wuxiang is a designated county at the national level rural e-commerce demonstration project. The local government has strengthened the training of e-commerce talents and beefed up the construction of rural network. In no time, Lingtou village has built up a wechat business training base for farmers. After the training, Li began to sell her own agricultural products by live stream. In this way, her agricultural products are sold all across China. At present, more than 100 villagers have started their business on wechat. They not only sell their own products, but also help other villagers sell agricultural products, leading them to embark on the way to become well off. (Xinhua/Zhan Yan)
