Dollar hovers in mid-105 yen on easing trade tensions

TOKYO, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar hovered in the mid-105 yen zone Tuesday in Tokyo amid easing trade tensions.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 105.49-50 yen compared with 105.35-45 yen in New York and 105.06-07 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It moved between 105.43 yen and 105.75 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2465-2466 dollars and 131.50-54 yen against 1.2436-2446 dollars and 131.22-32 yen in New York and 1.2382-2383 dollars and 130.09-13 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Enditem
