CAPE TOWN, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in South African major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- An informal survey by Wesgro among 18 hotels in Cape Town reflects the impact the water crisis in the city already has on the hospitality sector.

Wesgro is the official tourism, trade and investment promotion agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape Province and the results of the survey were mentioned during a presentation at an event the agency hosted recently. (Fin24)

-- Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe said on Monday that his department is moving speedily to finalize the Mining Charter once and for all so that everyone can "get into the business of mining".

Two task teams have been set up to sort out disagreements around the charter, including consulting with affected communities in rural areas.(Eyewitness News)
