Dollar rises to lower 105 yen zone on Japanese stocks rebound

TOKYO, March 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar climbed to the lower 105 yen zone Monday in Tokyo on the rebound in Japanese stocks.

At 5:00 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 105.06-07 yen compared with 104.69-79 yen in New York and 105.01-03 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Friday. It moved between 104.71 yen and 105.15 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2382-2383 dollars and 130.09-13 yen against 1.2346-2356 dollars and 129.40-50 yen in New York and 1.2321-2322 dollars and 129.39-43 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
