WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- A 7.3-magnitude earthquake jolted 31 km SSW of Acari, Peru at 0918 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.7 degrees south latitude and 74.7 degrees west longitude. Enditem
