ADDIS ABABA, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Sunday.
--The Ethiopian Railways Corporation (ERC) said the construction of a new railway academy will start next September.
The academy will be built in the city of Bishoftu, 47 Km east of Addis Ababa, with a 373.14 million Yuan (close to 60 mln U.S. dollars) financial support obtained from the government of China. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)
--Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn of Ethiopia will travel to Egypt on Monday for an official state visit which will go on until Wednesday, Egypt Independent quoted Al-Masry Al-Youm as saying.
