NAIROBI, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Sunday.

-- The 13 secretaries whose names were missing from President Uhuru Kenyatta's recent partial list of a new team are engaged in intense behind-the-scenes fight for survival ahead of the unveiling of the full Cabinet this week.

When he named his partial Cabinet two weeks ago, Kenyatta omitted all those serving in the current four dockets aligned to his "Big Four" agenda. -- The clamor for dialogue between Kenyan political actors has moved a notch higher with the U.S. government setting aside a special kitty for the talks. U.S. envoy in Nairobi said the money would facilitate "national conversation." (Standard on Sunday)
