KUWAIT CITY, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Kuwaiti Seventh Shooting Tournament will kick off on Saturday with participants from 37 Arab and foreign countries.

The tournament will be held Saturday evening at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex with more than 315 shooters, Duaij Al-Otaibi, Kuwait Shooting Federation Chairman, said in a statement.

The championship, due to proceed until January 18, would kick off with men's rifles competitions, said Duaij Al-Otaibi.

All shooting ranges and facilities are ready to host the six-day tournament, which will host all Olympic shooting disciplines, he added.

Several activities were held just days ahead of the event, including the Sixth Asian Youth Skeet Training Camp and two ISSF judges' courses for rifle, pistol and shotgun refereeing, he noted. Enditem
