NEW YORK, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 42 km NNW of Iquique, Chile at 18:10:33 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.8582 degrees south latitude and 70.2648 degrees west longitude. Enditem
