German shares lose 0.44 pct Thursday

FRANKFURT, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 57.56 points, or 0.44 percent, to close at 13,068.08 points.

German energy groups RWE lost the most among the blue chips, down by 6.13 percent, followed by European health care company Fresenius SE and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical, which lost 2.41 percent and 1.91 percent respectively.

German multinational software corporation SAP, housing association Vonovia and European mass media company ProSiebenSat.1 were the top three winners, rising 0.54 percent, 0.40 percent and 0.35 percent respectively.

RWE was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 401.74 million euros (475.86 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
