At least 8 injured in school bus crash in U.S. state Florida

WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least 8 people were injured in a school bus crash Wednesday morning in Highlands County, the U.S. southeastern state of Florida.

The school bus was carrying 29 students when it was struck in the rear by a tractor-trailer, said local police.

Two students were airlifted to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries, while six patients, including the school bus driver, were rushed to the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Lake Placid, said an ABC news report. Enditem
