Chinese dragon boat race final 2017 concludes

HAIKOU, China, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese dragon boat race final 2017 concluded on Sunday in Lingshui, a county of south China's Hainan Province.

A total of 36 top teams across China competed in the two-day race. The teams were categorized in four divisions, namely men's and women's professional group and boys' and girls' group, with race distances of 100 meters, 200 meters and 500 meters.

The tournament finally saw 12 individual champions in different race distances and four final champions in professional and youth groups.

The champion teams will represent China to participate in the dragon boat race of Asian Championship to be held next year.

The dragon boat race will be one of the eight non-Olympic sports in the Asian Games 2018 to be held in Indonesia. Enditem
