KABUL, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Two Taliban bomb makers have been arrested in Afghanistan's southern province of Kandahar, the command of Afghan Special Forces said Sunday.

"Taliban bomb makers Fida Mohammad and Mullah Manan were arrested after security forces launched a search operation in Ali Baba village, Daman district, Kandahar province on Thursday night," Operational Coordination Group Afghanistan (MoD-OCGA) said in a statement.

The captured men were responsible for making roadside bombs and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and the security forces also seized huge amount of cash after the operation.
