Wizz Air suspends flights from BiH city to London

Xinhua,December 05, 2017 Adjust font size:

SARAJEVO, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air has decided to suspend flights from Tuzla International Airport (TIA), some 110 km north of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) capital, to London Luton Airport, local media reported Tuesday.

The international line from TIA to London Luton Airport (LLA) was established in March this year, but the management of Wizz Air decided to abolish it completely.

"Although the availability was good, this company decided to suspend the flight due to visa-issuing procedures that would, according to their analyses, have a significant impact on the number of passengers transported," TIA director Rifet Karasalihovic explained.

Tuzla International Airport served more than 495,000 passengers this year, exceeding the annual target of 488,000. Enditem
