Second phase of 2018 FIFA World Cup ticket sales starts

MOSCOW, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- World soccer governing body FIFA claimed that the first stage of the second phase ticket sales for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia kicked off on Tuesday and will run until April 3, 2018.

According to the FIFA statement, the second phase of ticket sales occurs in two parts. From Dec. 5 to Jan. 31, the tickets will be sold on a random selection draw principle, and then from March 13 to April 3 on a first come first served principle.

The third phase of the sales will take place between April 18 and July 15. Russia will host FIFA World Cup between June 14 and July 15, 2018. The opening game will take place between Russia and Saudi Arabia at Luzhniki stadium in Moscow. Enditem
