French Navy frigate visits Ukraine's Black Sea port

KIEV, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- The French Navy frigate Guepratte arrived at the Ukrainian southern Black Sea port of Odessa on Thursday for a four-day visit, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.

During its stay, the French delegation will hold talks with the representatives of the Ukrainian Navy Command and Odessa City Council, the ministry said.

Besides, the Guepratte crew will take part in cultural activities in Odessa and in a sightseeing tour across the city, it said.

On Wednesday, U.S. guided-missile destroyer USS James E. Williams DDG-95 docked at Odessa port. It is expected to stay till Dec. 2

Overall, the Black Sea port welcomed more than 10 foreign vessels since the beginning of the year. Enditem
