Urgent: German ICE train derails at main station in Swiss city of Basel: report

GENEVA, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- An intercity-express (ICE) train, operated by the German railway company Deutsche Bahn, derailed at the main station in the Swiss city of Basel, German media FOCUS online reported Wednesday.

It was unclear whether there were injured people, according to Swiss media. The Swiss Railways (SBB) said it must be expected with delays and train cancellations.
