2 killed, 3 injured in SW Pakistan blast

ISLAMABAD, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and three others injured when a blast hit a vehicle of security forces in Pakistan's southwest Sibi district of Balochistan province on Wednesday, local reports said.

The incident happened when the vehicle of paramilitary troops frontier corps was on its routine sweep in the district, Dunya News said.

Police said that the vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device in Sangan area of Sibi, a district located in the country's southwest Balochistan province.

The inured security personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital.

No group or person has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri condemned the attack and directed hospital administration to provide best possible medical treatment to the injured people.

This is the third attack targeting law enforcement agencies in the province during November. Earlier two attacks left four policemen including two senior officers killed. Enditem
