International Seminar on Sharing Experiences in Poverty Reduction

 

Lars Gronvald, Minister Counselor for Development Cooperation of the EU Delegation to China, speaks at the forum in Beijing on May 18, 2017.

Lars Gronvald, Minister Counselor for Development Cooperation of the EU Delegation to China, outlined his expectations for the forum. He noted that a number of eminent Chinese experts are trying to draw together experiences of poverty reduction in different fields and at the same time trying to combine the long-standing experience of the EU and the international community, to see if we can use all of these to develop a set of more applicable, more easily adaptable lessons for how to work in the Belt and Road countries. This will allow these experiences to be made accessible to a wider audience.
