PYONGYANG -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Tuesday rejected a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) press statement issued on Monday condemning its test-firing of a medium long-range ballistic missile.

A spokesman of the DPRK Foreign Ministry said that the DPRK "categorically and totally rejects the UNSC's statement which called into question its bolstering of nuclear deterrence for self-defense," according to the Korean Central News Agency. (DPRK-UN-Statement)

PARIS -- The cabinet of French President Emmanuel Macron's first government will be unveiled on Wednesday, a day later than initially scheduled due to further checks on would-be nominated ministers' fiscal situation, his office said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Elysee said the new cabinet would be named on Wednesday at 15:00 local time (1300GMT). Previously, it had been planned later on Tuesday. (France-Government Delay)

KIEV -- Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to expand sanctions against Russia, blacklisting a string of Russian media outlets and information technology (IT) companies, the presidential press service said Tuesday.
