KAMPALA -- Migration experts from several African countries are meeting in Uganda to develop a common continental policy on migration.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, in a speech read for him at the opening of the three-day meeting, said migration is a topical issue all over the world, which countries now have to humanely deal with especially by not closing borders. (Africa-Migration)

MOSCOW -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to approve the country's economic security strategy for the period until 2030, the Russian government said Monday.

BEIRUT -- The Lebanese army said Israeli drone and boat violated Lebanese air space and territorial waters, the National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday.

"A spy drone belonging to the Israeli enemy violated, at 9:30 p.m. (GMT1830) yesterday (Sunday), the Lebanese airspace off Rmeish, and effectuated circular flights over the south," a communique by the Lebanese army said on Monday. (Lebanon-Israel)
