Xinhua, May 13, 2017 Adjust font size:

Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced Saturday that it has managed to foil a plot by a terrorist group before any chance for operation, Tasnim news agency reported.

Following accurate intelligence and security measures, the plot by the terrorist group was thwarted by Iran's security forces, Intelligence Ministry said in a statement.

The terrorist group had planned to conduct acts of sabotage across the country, the statement said.

A large cache of explosives and bomb-making materials were also seized from the group, it said without further elaboration on the identity of the plotters and the detail of their intention. Endit
