Two government employees were killed and two others wounded in a bomb attack in Afghanistan's capital of Kabul in morning rush hours on Saturday, police said.
"A sticky Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attached to a minibus was detonated in Makroryan-e-Awal locality at 07:30 a.m. local time. The bus was carrying city Water Supply Department workers," a district police official told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Attack)

KABUL -- Two local Taliban leaders were killed after Afghan air force struck a militants' hideout in restive southern Helmand province on Friday, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"The strike was conducted on specific intelligence inputs in Musa Qala district, killing Ustad Toor Jan and Fidda Mohammad and three militants' vehicles were also destroyed following the raid," it said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page. (Afghanistan-Taliban)

ISLAMABAD -- At least 10 laborers were killed and two others injured in two separate firing incidents on construction sites in Pakistan's southwestern port city of Gwadar in Balochistan Province on Saturday, officials and reports said.
Confirming the death toll, Sarfraz Bugti, home minister of Balochistan Province said that the laborers were working on road construction projects when they came under attack.
The firing incidents took place in the Pishgan and Ganth Road areas, located at the outskirts of Gwadar. (Pakistan-Attack)
