Iran keen to deepen ties with South Korea under new president

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday congratulated the newly-elected South Korean President Moon Jae-in on his election victory, official IRNA news agency reported.

In a message, Rouhani expressed hope that during the South Korean new president's tenure in office, Tehran-Seoul relations will deepen more than ever.

Rouhani wished success for the South Korean president-elect and prosperity for the country's people.

Moon Jae-in, 64, was elected as the 19th president of South Korea. Endit
