Paris CAC40 index quasi-stable on Wednesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, was quasi-stable Wednesday, gaining only 0.05 percent and closing at 5,400.46 points.

The top three gainers were TECHNIPFMC, up 2.75 percent, ACCORD, up 1.78 percent, and VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT, up 1.71 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were VIVENDI, down 1.45 percent, NOKIA, down 0.99 percent, and ORANGE SA, down 0.93 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40, gained 0.28 percent and closed at 5,398.01 points Tuesday. Endite
