Godwin Mensha joins Iran's Persepolis

Iran's Persepolis soccer club signed Nigerian striker Godwin Mensha on Wednesday, Tehran Times daily reported.

Mensha joined Persepolis on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Mensha will wear No. 20 jersey in Persepolis.

He joined the other Iranian soccer team of Paykan in summer of 2016 with a one-year contract and scored 15 goals for the team in Iran Professional League.

The 27-year-old started his career in Spain, playing for several clubs in the third and fourth divisions before moving to Malta to play for Balzan and Mosta. Endit
