Austria's Vice Chancellor and leader of the People's Party, Reinhold Mitterlehner, Wednesday announced he would resign from all political positions.

KIEV -- The United States may join the Normandy format group whose aim is to solve the crisis in eastern Ukraine, local media reported Wednesday, citing Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

The Normandy format, also known as the Normandy Four, is a diplomatic group of senior representatives from Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France tasked to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine between government troops and pro-independence rebels, which has claimed about 10,000 lives since April 2014.(U.S.-Ukraine-Russia)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump has fired James Comey, director of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the White House said in a statement Tuesday.

A process to select a new FBI director is underway. Comey was appointed as FBI director in 2013, and was embroiled in controversy during the presidential election in 2016 after announcing an investigation into the emails of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton days before the election day, a move that Hillary said was partially the cause of her loss.(Trump-FBI)

SEOUL -- President Moon Jae-in of South Korea said Wednesday he will visit Pyongyang, capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), under right conditions.
