Spanish stock market falls 0.42 pct, closes at 11,049 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.42 percent on Tuesday to close at 11,049.20 points, down from the 11,096.30 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Endesa shares led falls losing 4.11 percent, followed by BBVA, Bankinter, Banco Santander, Caixabank and Bankia that lost 2.02 percent, 1.80 percent, 1.71 percent, 1.51 percent and 1.50 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 2.11 percent, followed by ACS, Amadeus, Merlin, Melia Hotels and Inditex that rose 1.70 percent, 1.69 percent, 1.59 percent, 1.54 percent and 1.25 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 117.20 points on Tuesday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.61 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday's closing time. Endit
