At least six Somali soldiers were killed and several others injured in a landmine blast in Bay region of southwest Somalia on Tuesday, an official said.

Information Minister for Southwest State, Ugaas Hassan told Xinhua the soldiers were killed after their vehicle hit a landmine as they were rushing to help provide reinforcement to regional forces who were engaged in heavy fighting with Al-Shabaab. (Somalia-Blast)

BERLIN -- German authorities arrested two terror suspects from Syria, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

BERLIN -- A German soldier suspected of terror attack planning was arrested, German local media Der Spiegel reported on Tuesday.

SEOUL -- Conservative and centrist rivals of Moon Jae-in, a candidate of the liberal Minjoo Party, said they would accept the result of South Korean presidential election in an apparent concession to Moon.

RAMALLAH -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced Tuesday he is ready to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu under the U.S. sponsorship for peace making.
