Indian markets close lower

Indian markets closed lower Friday.

Equity benchmarks continued to be sluggish, dragged by a fall in banks and metal shares.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 29,858.80, 267.41 points or 0.89 percent down compared to its previous close at 30,126.21. Endit
