China-Brunei exhibition to enhance bilateral investment, trade cooperation

Xinhua, May 4, 2017 Adjust font size:

The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Brunei Exhibition 2017 took place at Brunei International Defence Exhibition and Conference Centre (Bridex) here on Thursday.

Exploring the opportunity for cooperation and investment with Brunei's local businesses, some 130 Chinese businessmen representing about 70 major companies participate in the CAEXPO Brunei Exhibition 2017. They use about 100 booths to showcase their agro-based products and food items as well as light industrial arts and crafts or investment cooperation projects.

This is the first time for the CAEXPO to conduct a specialised exhibition in Brunei, which is jointly organised by China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government, Brunei's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as the Energy and Industry Department at the Prime Minister's Office, CAEXPO Secretariat and other governmental agencies.

During the exhibition, there will be a series of business matching activities to help Chinese exhibitors and Brunei local businessmen to enhance their growth and cooperation.

Brunei is the Country of Honour at the upcoming 14th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region later this year.

According to the CAEXPO Secretariat, the CAEXPO Brunei Exhibition 2017 is anticipated to further deepen and enhance cooperation between Brunei and Chinese enterprises for mutual benefits. Endit
