In the past months criminal hackers have succeeded, trough a clever executed manoeuvre, to redirect money from bank customers to their own account. The hackers have exploited a weak point in the telecommunication network.

German O2-Telefonica confirmed the incidents.

The Chinese business and financial conglomerate HNA has become the largest shareholder in German Deutsche Bank. HNA has increased its shareholding to 9.92 percent, which means: the share package has a value of 3.4 billion euros.

German Volkswagen (VW) has significantly boosted the profit for the year as a result of growth in most passenger car brands. The net profit climbed 43.9 percent to 3.4 billon euros, VW announced on Wednesday.
