Brazilian striker on Sevilla radar

Xinhua, May 1, 2017 Adjust font size:

Internazionale's Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa could join Sevilla on loan during the upcoming European summer transfer window, according to media reports.

Barbosa has made just eight appearances and scored one goal since his 30-million euro move to the San Siro from Santos last August.

Sevilla are ahead of a host of other European clubs hoping to secure a 12-month loan deal for the 20-year-old, according to Brazilian newspaper Lance.

Capped four times for Brazil's senior national team, Barbosa was a member of his country's gold medal-winning football team at last year's Rio Olympics.

Sevilla are currently fourth in Spain's La Liga standings, 13 points behind leaders Barcelona with four matches remaining in the season. Endit
