Iran to play friendly with Montenegro

Iran will play a friendly match against Montenegro in preparation for a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uzbekistan, Tehran Times daily reported on Monday.

The match has been scheduled for June 4 at Montenegro's Podgorica City Stadium.

Iran will host Uzbekistan on June 12 in Tehran's Azadi Stadium.

Iran lead Group A with 17 points from seven games to date, followed by South Korea and Uzbekistan with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Iran will book their berth in the 2018 World Cup with a draw against Uzbekistan. Endit
