Iran and South Korea signed two memorandum of understanding (MoUs) to expand mutual cooperation in water treatment and energy sector, semi-official Fars news agency reported on Sunday.

The MoUs were signed between Managing Director of Iran's Tavanir Company Arash Kordi and Deputy Head of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) Hyang-Reol Lyu in a meeting in Iranian capital Tehran on Saturday.

According to the agreements, both sides will cooperate in Clean Development Mechanism and Energy Storage Systems.
