Tour d'Indonesia rescheduled to January

International road bicycle racing, Tour d'Indonesia, is rescheduled from July of this year to January of next year, Indonesian cycling association said on Wednesday.

Chairman of the association Raja Sapta said in a statement that the level of the competition will be risen from the "level of 2.2 to 2.1", and the organizer of the event will be shifted to an event organizer from Italy which has a better track record.

The tour will start from Indonesia's capital of Jakarta and finish in Banyuwangi district of East Java province, all the routes are in the country's main java Island, he said.

A total of 20 cycling teams from foreign nations and regions and 5 local ones will vie in the tour. Endit
