Over 2,000-year-old relics unearthed in Henan

Relics, including pottery utensils, crystal jewelries, bronze music instruments and skeletons of chicken heads offered as sacrifices during worships, have been unearthed from a mausoleum tracing back to the E. Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC) in west outskirt of Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province. According to the archaeologists at the scene, they have discovered a cluster of 30 ancient mausoleums built in similar periods and the excavation is still underway. [Photo / Chinanews.com]
