Indian markets close higher

Indian market closed higher Tuesday. Equity benchmarks as well as broader markets continued to hold morning gains ahead of expiry of April futures & options contracts due Thursday.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 29,943.24, 287.40 points or 0.97 percent up compared to its previous close at 29,655.84. Endit
