Steve Kerr to miss Warriors' Game 4 due to back pain

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said on Sunday that he will miss Monday's Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers due to chronic back pain.

"As of now, I'm consulting with my doctors. I'm hoping for some improvement, and if I can get some improvement I'll get back on the sidelines. But tomorrow I will not coach and hopefully we can find some things to help over the next few days and I will get back out there," Kerr said.

Kerr also missed the Warriors' third game at Portland's Moda Center on Saturday. Assistant Mike Brown took over and the Warriors overcame a 17-point first-half deficit to win 119-113 and go up 3-0 in the first-round series. Enditem
