The Indian stock market closed flat with negative note on Friday.

The market reversed its morning gains and slipped into the red zone, driven by a drag in index heavyweights.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 29,365.30, 57.09 points or 0.19 percent down compared to its previous close at 29,422.39. Endit
