Singaporean stocks close 0.06 pct higher

Singaporean stocks finished higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 1.95 points, or 0.06 percent, to close at 3,139.83.

A total of 2.18 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.08 billion Singapore dollars (778.31 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered decliners 279 to 167.

The STI index gained 11.6 points, or 0.37 percent, to close at 3,137.88 on Thursday. Enditem
