Paris CAC 40 index gains 1.48 pct

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 1.48 percent and closed at 5,077.91 points on Thursday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Thursday, up 74.18 points, with 37 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increases.

The top three gainers were BNP Paribas, up 3.96 percent, Peugeot, up 3.89 percent, and Airbus, up 3.33 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were Solvay, down 0.53 percent, TechnipFMC, down 0.53 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco, down 0.47 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained 0.27 percent to close at 5,003.73 points on Wednesday, up 13.48 points. Endit
