Spanish stock market falls 0.6 pct, closes at 10,264 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.6 percent on Tuesday to close at 10,264.50 points, down from the 10,326.10 points of Thursday just before Easter bank holiday in Spain.

On Tuesday, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 5.96 percent, followed by DIA, Acerinox, Acciona, Repsol and Grifols that lost 2.91 percent, 2.82 percent, 2.43 percent, 2.21 percent and 1.79 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Abertis A shares led rises climbing 6.61 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Banco Sabadell and Bankinter that rose 6.22 percent, 0.63 percent and 0.05 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 152 points from the 148 points of Thursday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.7 percent, up from the 1.67 percent of Thursday. Endit
