British stocks decrease slightly

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.29 percent, or 21.40 points, to 7,327.59 points.

Share price of Associated British Foods increased by 3.59 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Mediclinic International, Micro Focus International, Sage Group and Persimmon increased by 3.12 percent, 2.42 percent, 2.08 percent and 1.55 percent respectively.

HSBC Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.74 percent, followed by Standard Chartered (1.65 percent), Tesco (1.57 percent), Ashtead Group (1.55 percent) and CRH (1.53 percent). Endit
